April Joy Esternon is a Veterinary Nurse at Bermuda Veterinary Services, where she has been an essential member of the team for more than six years. April plays a vital role in supporting both the veterinary team and the patients under our care.

A graduate of Arellano University in Manila, Philippines, April holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and brings a strong foundation in both human and animal healthcare. Before joining Bermuda Veterinary Services, she worked in hospitals, sterile supply, and veterinary clinics in the Philippines, gaining valuable experience that shapes her compassionate and detail-oriented approach to patient care.

At Bermuda Veterinary Services, April assists with surgical preparation, anaesthesia, diagnostics, inpatient care, and clinical coordination, ensuring every patient receives attentive, high-quality care. She has also expanded her professional knowledge through ongoing education and international veterinary conferences, including the Veterinary Dental Technician Weekend (Chicago, 2019) and the New York Veterinary Show (2019).

Known for her friendly personality, positive attitude, and strong sense of initiative, April is a true self-starter who consistently goes above and beyond to support her colleagues and provide exceptional care.
